This June, my dog and I are taking on Cancer Council’s Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.
Cancer isn’t something distant for me - it's deeply personal. It has touched my family in more ways than I can count and has taken some far too soon. It’s something that sits with you, changes you and never really leaves.
That’s part of why this challenge matters so much.
We’ll be putting one paw (and one foot) in front of the other for every person who has faced a diagnosis, for the families who have supported them, and for those we’ve lost and miss every day.
If you’re able to donate, even in a small way, it would mean a lot. Every contribution helps fund research, prevention, and support services that make a real difference to people going through cancer right now.
We’re doing this walk with love, memory and hope behind every step.
Cancer Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Cancer Council NSW is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as an Income tax Exempt Charity. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
