A little look back at my Pink October hair transformations over the years 💕🎀

In October, I’ve loved changing up my hair and wearing pink as my own little way of showing support for those affected by breast cancer.

But this year, I’m taking it a step further…
Instead of just wearing pink, I’m walking for it. 💗

I’ve signed up to walk 58km throughout October for the 58 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer every single day.

As a nurse, I’ve held the hands of so many brave women going through their breast cancer journey, and I’ve seen just how much strength and resilience it takes. With breast cancer also running in my family, this cause is incredibly close to my heart. 💖

So this year, my pink hair comes with 58km of walking and a fundraising goal. 🎀

 This October, I’m doing something a little different 🎀

In October, I usually make my hair pink to show my support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pink October has always held a special place in my heart, not only because I’ve cared for so many women affected by breast cancer throughout my career as a nurse, but because breast cancer also runs in my own family.

This year, I wanted to take it one step further!

I’ve signed up to take part in the 58km Breast Cancer Challenge, walking 58km throughout October to represent the 58 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer every single day.

Working as a nurse, I’ve had the privilege of holding the hands of incredibly brave women while they navigate some of the hardest moments of their lives. I’ve witnessed their fear, their courage, their strength and their resilience — and honestly, their stories have stayed with me.

So this October, every kilometre I walk will be for those women.
💗For the women currently fighting.
💗For the women who have fought before them.
💗For the families standing beside them.
💗And for the women we have sadly lost. 

I’m hoping to raise money for Cancer Council to support vital cancer research, prevention and support services.
