I’ve signed up for a cancer fundraising dog-walking challenge, which is basically my attempt to turn the daily chaos of walking three dogs into something useful.
Cancer is something very close to home for me. I lost my mum to cancer when I was 14, so this is a cause that has always mattered deeply.
The dogs already require a small military operation every time we leave the house, so I figured we may as well put the kilometres to good use and raise some money along the way.
I’m also treating this as a quasi-Dry June warm-up before rolling into Dry July, so frankly there are health benefits all round.
Any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated. It will help support an incredibly important cause and give me some added motivation when one of the dogs inevitably decides that walking in a straight line is optional.
