I’m taking on an epic challenge this October – and I need your support.
I’ll be walking/running 58km for the 58 Aussies diagnosed with breast cancer every day. And to help find the next breast cancer breakthrough.
As many of you may not know, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer nearly 3 years ago. Fought it off two times and currently fighting it for a third time, with this being the worst round.
Going through radiation, three surgeries and now 13 rounds of chemo followed by a double mastectomy.
Her determination, strength and persistence yet her love, care and support for others consistently is truly unmatched.
Not only has she been dabbling this intense and painful process, she continues to administer and nurse at her part time job 3 days a week!
Providing assistance, care, love, support and guidance to those who are going through battles of their own.
I’ve never gone through such a difficult time in my life watching her go through genuine torture. Yet she hasn’t let it shape her nor tear her down and no matter what it throws at her, she fights it.
Genuinely so inspired by her everyday and that is why I want to show her and others in her position that I stand with them.
The smallest to he largest donation doesn’t go unnoticed, any and all will help to support those who are like my mum right now fighting one of the biggest uncontrollable battles they’ll face.
It’s to fund world-class cancer research, prevention programs, and support services at Cancer Council, to support people affected by cancer before, during and after treatment.
