I’m stepping up for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this October 2026.
Hello Everyone,
As a breast cancer survivor, this cause is deeply personal to me. I am immensely grateful for the excellent medical care I received in Australia, where breast cancer treatment and research are world-class, and I want to do my part and give a little back in appreciation for what I gained.
I'll be walking 58 km during October to honour the 58 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer every day and the 9 Australians who lose their lives to this disease each day.
If you can, please consider donating $9 or $58 to symbolise the cause, or any amount you are comfortable with; I would really appreciate it.
The funds raised will go towards research for the next breakthrough in breast cancer treatment and support services provided by Cancer Council, which assists those affected by cancer before, during, and after treatment.
