I’m taking on this challenge - 🎀 58km for 58 Australians a day diagnosed with breast cancer

I’ll be walking 58km across the month of October to represent the 58 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer every day — and to help raise funds for the next breakthrough in breast cancer research.

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022. Since then, I’ve undergone a mastectomy, 16 rounds of chemotherapy and 16 rounds of radiation therapy, as well as ongoing medication.

Today, I am incredibly grateful to say that I am cancer free. 

I’m taking on this challenge because I want to help advance breast cancer research and ensure that support, treatment and hope are there for the many people and families who receive this devastating diagnosis.

Funds raised will support cancer research, prevention programs and support services through Cancer Council, helping people affected by cancer before, during and after treatment.

Cancer Council works across every aspect of cancer — supporting families when they need it most, advocating for the community, helping people reduce their cancer risk, and investing in better ways to detect and treat cancer.

With your help, we can support those affected by breast cancer today and work towards a future where fewer people have to face this disease.
