This October – will be 12mnths since diagnosis, help me raise funds to help those like me and those yet to start their journey

I’ll be walking 58km for the 58 Aussies diagnosed with breast cancer every day. And to help find the next breast cancer breakthrough.

Memorial for a friend, lost to cancer

Sunday 26th Oct
Friday was a tough day, remembering a life lost too soon to cancer, a life barely begun. Friends and family telling funny stories and remembering the brave fight for two years, he was only 27.
I will continue my fight and doing things like these fundraisers in the hopes the next family holds a survivors celebration instead of a wake or memorial.

Double or nothing

Tuesday 14th Oct
I’m planning to hit 116km by the end of the challenge. I am lucky to still be working full time whilst still having ongoing treatments to hopefully the cancer doesn’t grow back and this means lots of walking. Some days it’s a challenge getting off the couch but day by day I’m working towards doing more so my capacity for exercise grows.
