My target 58kms
I’m taking on an epic challenge this October – and I need your support.
I’ll be walking 58km for the 58 Aussies diagnosed with breast cancer every day. And to help find the next breast cancer breakthrough.
I’m raising money and awareness for Cancer Council because cancer has touched so many lives, including those of people close to me.
Recently, I made the decision to get tested for the BRCA gene. As a mum, and with a strong family history of cancer on both sides of my family, I feel it’s important to be informed and proactive about my own health and to understand my risks.
For me, this fundraiser is about more than raising money. It’s about raising awareness, encouraging people to know their family history, have important conversations about their health, and seek advice and testing when appropriate.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps support Cancer Council’s vital work in cancer research, prevention, support and awareness.
Thank you for supporting me and helping make a difference. ❤️
