I’m taking on an epic challenge this October – and I need your support.

I’ll be walking 58km for the 58 Aussies diagnosed with breast cancer every day. And to help find the next breast cancer breakthrough.

In July 2022, my beautiful Mum was one of those 58 Aussies who’s day and world was turned upside down, being diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.

Triple negative breast cancer is the most aggressive form of breast cancer and the most difficult to treat, which also means it has a higher chance of recurrence.

Mum has had surgery, two courses of radiotherapy and countless(months and months) doses of chemotherapy over the past few years, and has bravely experienced all of the side effects that comes with each of those treatments.

While her cancer is unfortunately now widespread she still remains as strong and determined as the day she was diagnosed and continues to fight every single day.

We are so proud of our mum and are constantly in awe of her strength, positivity and selflessness, and will always do anything we can to help her through this difficult time. I am also determined to do everything in my power to fundraise to help find a cure for this horrible disease, and support other families that are going through the same thing.

While mum cant walk far these days, I still can. Which is why I’m taking on this walking challenge this October!!
