Fundraising

Fundraising with Girls’ Night In is easier than ever before!

Every host will get their own Girls’ Night In fundraising page which your friends and family can easily donate to. All you need to do is share the link!

Your fundraising page

When you sign up for Girls’ Night In, you’ll get your very own fundraising page and your space to shine! Add a splash of personality with a profile pic and a message that shares why this cause means so much to you.

It’s the easiest way to collect donations and your guests can donate directly to your page. Every dollar raised helps Cancer Council support people affected by women’s cancers.

Set a fundraising goal

Big or small, every bit counts and helps tackle cancer. Setting a goal gives your friends a clear idea of how they can help and makes it extra exciting when you hit that target!

Spread the word

Share your page far and wide—on socials, in group chats, or via email. It’s a great way to build momentum before and after your event, so you can relax and enjoy the night.

Don’t be shy—ask your guests to share your page too.

Approach your employer

Double the impact! Ask your workplace if they’ll match the amount you raise. Many companies love to support causes their employees care about, so go ahead and ask. You never know unless you try!

Involve local businesses

Reach out to local legends who might donate raffle prizes or auction items. Just be sure to give them a heads-up early and some take a little time to get back to you.

Highlight the cause

Your story matters. Share why you’re passionate about tackling and let your guests know how their support makes a difference.

Most people have felt the impact of cancer in some way, so your message will resonate.

Tenille's story

As a busy mum, Tenille wanted a way to pause the busy-ness and have a beautiful time together with her besties.

She knew one cause united them: cancer. They had all been touched in some way by cancer, either themselves or someone they knew.

Tenille gathered some of her closest friends for a fun night in. They raised money for women’s cancers while having one of those unforgettable nights together.

“Life is so busy. Girls’ Night In is my way of getting my closest friends together to stop, connect, have a night ‘off’ and support a great cause.”

“It’s so much fun – and so easy! I simplified the fundraising by asking guests for a $30 entry fee, and then everything else just flowed! I can’t wait to do it again this year.”

Tenille and her friends raised more than $700 for women’s cancer research and support.
