Walking for Annette and all other women impacted by breast cancer
This October, I’ll be taking part in the Breast Cancer Walk alongside my partner, Leyna, to raise awareness and funds for all women affected by breast cancer.
While this walk is for every woman facing breast cancer, it holds an especially personal meaning for me. I’ll be walking in honour and support of my mum, Annette, who is currently going through her own breast cancer journey.
As her son, it’s incredibly difficult watching someone you love face something like this, and although we can’t take away what she’s going through, we can stand beside her, support her and remind her that she’s never alone.
We’re walking for Mum, and for all the incredibly strong women fighting breast cancer — those currently going through treatment, those who have overcome it, and those who are sadly no longer with us.
If you’re able to donate, even a small contribution would mean so much to us and help support breast cancer research, treatment and the women and families affected by this disease. 💗
