Walking for a cure - one paw at a time
This June, Sunny and Zed are dragging me along for Cancer Councilās 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge š¾
While theyāre in it for the treatos, the āomg they are so cuteā from strangers and random sniff stops every 12 seconds (add Zed wanting to pee on every blade of grass) weāre walking to help raise funds for those impacted by cancer.
50km (the overachievers are attempting 100km), sore legs, tangled leads and probably a few āwhoās walking who?ā moments ahead ā but all for a good cause. Side note⦠I wonder if I can attach my Apple Watch to their collars and let them run freeā¦.
Every kilometre we walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words āyou have cancerā. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.Ā
If you can, please donate to help keep the paws moving and me pretending I enjoy an icy winter walk (for a good cause)Ā š¾
Sunny and Zed are committed to the cause, mainly because they think every walk ends in treats. But weāre proud to be raising funds to help tackle cancer along the way.
Turns out even the dogs know some fights are bigger than chasing birds.
Thank you to my suppawters
