I’m taking on an epic challenge this October – and I need your support.
I’ll be walking 5.8km a day for the 58 Aussies diagnosed with breast cancer every day. And to help find the next breast cancer breakthrough
Tomorrow I start walking 5.8km or 3.75 miles a day as part of Team UnLEASH the Cure. That’s one kilometre for each of the 58 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer every single day.
Our team, UnLEASH the Cure, is walking for my beautiful friend Alicia (“Leash”) as she battles breast cancer with incredible strength. While I can’t take away her pain, walking is something I can do—to show love, support, and hope.
Every step matters—for Leash, and for everyone touched by breast cancer.
You’ll fund world-class cancer research, prevention programs, and support services at Cancer Council, to support people affected by cancer before, during and after treatment.
Cancer Council is Australia’s leading cancer charity working across every aspect of every cancer. They support families affected by cancer when they need it most, speak out on behalf of the community on cancer issues, empower people to reduce their cancer risk, and find new ways to better detect and treat cancer. With your help, we can get closer to a cancer free future.

Wednesday 8th OctOne week down!
I’ve managed to do 6km every day this week — it’s been tougher than I thought (the shin splints have made a comeback ?), but I’m pushing through because it’s all for such a good cause. ?
Whenever it gets hard, I think of Leesh and everything she’s going through with her chemo — and it reminds me why I’m doing this and helps me keep going. ?
