I’m taking on an epic challenge this October – and I need your support.
Hi everyone,
This October I'll be walking 58km for the 58 Aussies diagnosed with breast cancer every day. And to help find the next breast cancer breakthrough.
Cancer has touched the lives of many, including my own family. Last year, I walked 57 km in and also donated 64 cms of hair in memory of my grandma, my sister in law Divya didi and in honour of so many other family members affected by cancer. It was a deeply emotional journey, and I am so grateful for the support I received along the way.
This year, I’m back with a new challenge, 58 km and with renewed goals. This walk is not just about October anymore and breast cancer. It's a fight against all cancer. It’s about building lifelong strength, resilience, will power, and fitness, while paying respect to loved ones I've lost, those still fighting against this deadly disease. It is for my friends and family who inspire me every day.
Walking 58 km may not sound like much to some, but it’s a real challenge for me and that’s why I’m asking for your support once again. Last year, with all the support and encouragement, I surpassed the 57km and walked 100kms. I want to beat that target! It will be active walking and not just step counting. Your donations will go towards vital research and support services, and your encouragement will keep me motivated and accountable to this cause that is so close to my heart.
