We are fundraising for Nada Raffoul, and all of our family, friends and loved ones who have survived breast cancer, and for the ones who have lost their lives to breast cancer.

We are taking part in the Cancer Council’s October Walk to honour someone very special to me, my beautiful friend Nada, who is currently battling breast cancer.

Watching someone you love go through cancer is heartbreaking. It changes the way you look at life and makes you realise just how important it is to stand beside the people we love, especially during their hardest moments.

This walk is not only for Nada. It is for all of our family, friends and loved ones who have lost their lives to breast cancer, and whose memories will forever remain in our hearts. It is for those who have survived breast cancer, showing incredible strength, courage and resilience. And it is for every person who is still fighting today, facing each day with hope and determination.

We are walking in honour of every one of them.

We are walking for the mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, partners, friends and loved ones whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. We are walking for the families who have stood beside them, cried with them, prayed for them and hoped with them.

Most importantly, I’m walking for Nada — to remind her that she is not alone, that she is deeply loved, and that so many people are standing beside her and cheering her on every step of the way.

If you are able to donate, no matter how big or small, your support will mean so much to me. Together, we can help raise awareness, support those affected by cancer and contribute to research that may one day mean fewer families have to experience this pain.

For those we have lost.
For those who have survived.
For those still fighting.
And for Nada.

Every step is for you
