My target 58kms
I’m taking on an epic challenge this October – and I need your support.
I’ll be walking 58km for the 58 Aussies diagnosed with breast cancer every day. And to help find the next breast cancer breakthrough.
Will you donate to support my challenge, and help me reach my fundraising goal?
You’ll fund world-class cancer research, prevention programs, and support services at Cancer Council, to support people affected by cancer before, during and after treatment.
Cancer Council is Australia’s leading cancer charity working across every aspect of every cancer. They support families affected by cancer when they need it most, speak out on behalf of the community on cancer issues, empower people to reduce their cancer risk, and find new ways to better detect and treat cancer. With your help, we can get closer to a cancer free future.
It’s all of us against cancer.
Are you with me? Please donate to my fundraiser now.

Why I Walk
Saturday 29th Aug
In 2020, when the world was locked down due to COVID-19 and we were all trying to make sense of the pandemic’s rules and restrictions, I was quietly working on a plan to fight breast cancer.
At 41, I had my first mammogram, which led to many other tests. I kept my diagnosis a secret, trying to avoid the reality that my life was about to change, that my career, which I’d dedicated 15 years to, would be put on hold, and that so many other life plans would be put aside.
I was lucky to detect the cancer early and have it in situ, with my family by my side. But not everyone is so lucky. Not everyone has the financial resources to get the tests and procedures they need, which is why I fundraise. This is why I walk; it’s challenging, but it’s not as tough as the moment you get your diagnosis and feel powerless.
I train, I walk, and I’m here to support those who have fought, those who are still fighting, and for those like me, who are surviving.
