For Holly: 40km of Hope, One Bounce at a Time

Cancer touches so many lives, but when it’s someone you love, it changes everything. This fundraiser is my way of turning that love into something meaningful — something that might help bring hope, answers, and better outcomes for others.

Last August I took part in the Daffodil Day Dip to raise funds for cancer research, in honour of my Mama.

I’ll be bouncing the equivalent of 40km this May - all for cancer research and in honour of my Mama.

This May I am challenging myself to get active to support the Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future.

Every donation, big or small, contributes to research that saves lives and supports families through some of their hardest moments.

If you’re able to give, or even just share this page, it would mean so much. 💛

Bounce Training: Chaos to Coordination 💫

Monday 20th Apr

Hi team—reporting live from bounce training ✨

Training is officially underway… and it’s going surprisingly well 💛

I’m getting the hang of this whole bouncing thing (with only minimal flailing now—progress).
What started as slightly chaotic has turned into something that actually feels strong… and even a little fun.

Each session is building momentum—not just physically, but mentally too.
And with May just around the corner, I’m feeling ready (and slightly less like I might bounce into another dimension).

This means so much to me, and I’m so grateful to have you all along for the ride.

This is for something bigger—and we’re just getting started ✨
Catch you on the rebound 💛

Coordination Syncing… Please Wait ✨

Testing, testing… 1, 2—am I bouncing or clinging to upright?

Currently Bouncing… With Varying Degrees of Grace

Sunday 12th Apr

I haven’t officially started my fundraiser yet… but I have started bouncing.

And by bouncing, I mean attempting to look coordinated on a rebounder while questioning my life choices somewhere around minute three.

At this stage, it’s less “graceful fitness journey” and more “slightly unhinged human trying not to be launched into orbit”… but we’re building strength, and that’s what counts.

Each day I’m hopping on (literally), getting my body used to it, and slowly preparing for the full challenge in May. It’s not glamorous, it’s not elegant—but it is happening.

And behind the wobbles and questionable balance is something that matters deeply to me.

I’m doing this for my Mum, and for everyone who’s had their world shaken by cancer.

So while I’m not officially underway just yet, this is the warm-up phase—the “learning how to bounce without taking out nearby furniture” era.

Every bounce now is building towards something bigger.

Stronger legs, stronger mindset… slightly improved coordination (we hope).

So here we go—one bounce at a time.

Progress: happening.

Dignity: still under review.

I’ll keep you updated 💛
