Every 20 minutes, a Queenslander is diagnosed with cancer.
Cancer Council Queensland plays a vital role in funding cancer research, prevention and awareness initiatives, supporting early detection, and providing essential services and programs to people affected by cancer and their families.
On the last day of Term 3, Friday 18 September 2026, Meridan State College and the P&C are proud to host a fundraiser in support of Cancer Council Queensland.
100% of funds raised will be donated directly to Cancer Council Queensland.

In 2025, we raised almost $5000, and our Sunflower video has been viewed more than 9,000 times! 🌻
