The Seacliff Primary School year 7 cohort of 2021 have proudly expressed their desire to help raise funds for the ongoing research into cancer treatments. The participating members will be asking for donations throughout term 2 at the culmination of which we will shave or cut our hair in the final week of term. The therapy-induced alopecia that cancer patients endure can have an appalling impact on their psychological health, including their self-compassion, self-care, social interactions and relationship dynamics. Positive psychology has a really substantial impact on their ultimate medical outcomes. It's a testament to your character that you are willing to donate your hair to provide relief for others in those circumstances. It will provide a tangibly positive impact in their outcomes. Absolutely terrific stuff. You're an excellent young woman.
