2026 the Tim Mulherin Shield is back and bigger than ever. Souths and Norths Hockey clubs in Mackay are joining together to raise much needed funds for cancer research within Australia. Souths have dominated the event the last few years taking out the shield comfortably last season. Who will come out on top this year? We have a massive $5000 goal this year, which if we achieve Norths Legend Rob Russet has said he will shave his beard.
Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, we're bringing everyone together to raise funds and show our support.
