Single effort run of 190 kms around Malta | A tribute to my dad & raising funds for cancer research.
In August 2026, I’ll be attempting to become the fifth known person (hopefully the youngest!) to run 190 km around Malta (inc. Gozo) in a single effort — in honour of my late father, and to raise funds for those affected by cancer.
My dad was born in Malta and always dreamed of showing me the very places he grew up. His dream was cut short when he passed away from cancer in 2012.
This run is my way of fulfilling that dream, and doing what I can so fewer children, partners, a parents have to experience that loss… a loss that defined my life.
Funds raised will contribute to cancer support and research, creating impact both here in Australia — alongside a parallel fundraising charity aligned in Malta, fulfilling my own dream to give back to the communities in both countries that shaped my dad.

There are people enduring far more than anything this challenge will ask of me, and not by choice.
The dream to fulfil is more than a run.
It’s about making a meaningful impact in both countries that shaped my dad - by supporting those affected by cancer, so fewer children, partners, and parents have to experience that loss.
A loss where the heartache begins long before the passing… something I’ll be sharing and raising awareness for along the way.
The connections I’ve been forming in Malta have already shown me that this will be bigger than I imagined.
My dad’s beloved community - letting me know that I’ll be welcomed and reminding me that I won’t be doing this alone.

A historic attempt

A full circumnavigation of Malta (including Gozo) in a single effort - something only four people are known to have ever completed, inspiring my attempt to become the youngest on record.
Approximately 190 kms, over 4000m of elevation, constant undulation, exposed coastline, technical sections… and the August heat.
This isn’t just distance. It’s endurance in its rawest form.
