I’m doing it for cancer!
Martin’s Mark
Some stories deserve to live on.
Martin was a country-loving, hardworking man. A builder, farmer, cattleman, man of many talents, A father, A son, A brother , A husband and someone who never seemed to stop working. His boots and hat carried the marks of a lifetime of hard work — and those same boots and hat have become the inspiration behind something I’m building in his memory.
Martin’s Mark is about leaving something good behind.
Through Countrywide Lenses, I want to capture the people, families, work and stories that make country communities what they are. But I also want this to be about something bigger than photography.
Cancer has touched far too many families, including ours. So alongside this journey, I want to use this platform to help make a difference for people and families facing cancer.
Every dollar raised will help Cancer Council continue its work supporting people affected by cancer, funding research and prevention programs, and working towards a cancer-free future.
For Dad.
For the families still fighting.
For the ones we remember.
And for the hope that one day, fewer families have to hear the words, “You have cancer.”
This is Martin’s Mark.
