On 29 September 2026, Jack Barker and Ryan Sard will begin one of the biggest challenges of their lives running 220 kilometres from Adelaide to Barmera, Riverland over five consecutive days.
That's more than a marathon every single day, all in support of Cancer Council SA.
Cancer is something that has touched almost every family in Australia. Whether it's a parent, sibling, friend, workmate or neighbour, far too many people have experienced the heartbreak of a cancer diagnosis. We wanted to do something that would not only raise much needed funds but also raise awareness and start conversations about the impact cancer has on our communities.
Every kilometre we run is for those currently fighting, those who have survived, and those we've sadly lost. This challenge is our way of giving back and showing support to the thousands of South Australians affected by cancer every year.
Your donation will help fund Cancer Council SA's vital work, including life-saving cancer research, prevention programs, support services for patients and their families, and advocacy for a cancer-free future.
Whether you donate $5 or $500, every contribution makes a difference and brings us one step closer to our goal.
