I'm doing it for cancer!
I’m challenging myself to get active to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future.
Earlier this year my Dad "Big Mick" was diagnosed with throat cancer and has been going through Chemo and Radio therapy to combat it.
Dad was never a smoker and this goes to show how vulnerable we all are.
Those who know my "Big Mick" are aware he has had a rough go since having major heart surgery a few years ago.
Unfortunately Dad is in for another fight but is taking it head on.
Battling cancer is a non stop battle and one that brings hardship no one wants to see anyone else go through.
I’m putting my body to the test to raise funds and show my support in the hope of raising funds for research will bring more answers for other people in the future in this fight in the future.
I have started a 10 week boxing course ending in a 3 round fight @ Richmond dog track on the 14th of November.

Growing up, he always welcomed me into your house and I recall his great sense of humour. I’ve got some really good memories of those days. I’ll definitely be supporting you and cheering on. Thinking of your dad, and the whole family ❤️
