Miles for Miracles – 24 Hour Treadmill Challenge

I'm doing it for cancer!

I’m challenging myself to walk on a treadmill for 24 continuous hours to raise funds for Cancer Council in support of their mission for a cancer free future.

Cancer has affected far too many people that I know and love. Like so many families, I’ve watched people face one of the toughest battles imaginable. I’ve seen the strength, courage and resilience it takes - not only from those diagnosed, but also from their families, friends and loved ones standing beside them.

Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m putting my body to the test to raise funds and show my support.

For 24 hours straight, I’ll be walking on a treadmill. While this challenge will push me physically and mentally, I know it doesn’t compare to the physical and emotional battle faced by people living with cancer every day. Instead, I hope it serves as a small act of endurance in honour of those who continue to fight, those we’ve lost, and the families walking beside them.

Throughout the challenge, I’d love for you to all get involved by coming down to cheer me on, donate if you’re able, and if I’m lucky enough to get my hands on a second treadmill, I’d love for people to jump on and walk alongside me for a while.

Every step I take is for someone fighting.

Every kilometre is for someone we’ve lost.

Every donation brings hope for better treatments, groundbreaking research, and support for individuals and families affected by cancer.

My goal is to raise $2,400 - representing $100 for every hour of the challenge. Reaching my goal would mean the world, and anything beyond is an incredible bonus that will make an even greater difference.
