I'm Doing It For Cancer!

I'm challenging myself to quit a bad habit to support Cancer Council and help tackle cancer.

Because almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I'm raising funds to show my support.

Please sponsor me! Every dollar raised will help fund Cancer Council's life-saving research, prevention programs, and support services.

Fighting for our loved ones

Hi All,

Unfortunately, I know these stories aren't unfamiliar, and they shouldn't be, but I hope we can collectively make a difference.

Tragically, my wife's mother, the beautiful Margaret, was taken far too early by breast cancer. She was a beautiful soul, and I want to give back as much as she gave the world.

Just over 2 years ago my Dad had a massive heart attack and needed a double bypass, but made it through like the tough old bugger he is.

Pretty much a year to that day of the heart attack he had is an Oesophageal cancer diagnosis, which spread to his lymph nodes.

Feel free to read on or donate and feel proud!!!!

I told him, "Don't you even think about giving up, mate, don't you fuckin do it, fight you, bastard." Sorry for swearing; thank god he didn't give up, and I want to give back somehow.

After intense chemo and radiation, he went into a brief remission. Sadly, it came back and was again in his lymph nodes. 

I have no doubt that through the countless sacrifices and generous giving, Immunotherapy was developed, and this has brought him back to the brink of remission again and living a relatively normal life, for now.
