For the Fighters

By Patrick Moss

I’m doing it for cancer!

I’ve been bald for a few weeks now — by choice. What started as quiet support for someone close has grown into something bigger.

Cancer has touched too many people I care about. Shaving my head was the first step. Next: dyeing my beard — my trademark look.

A bald head and a bold beard won’t change the world — but it can start conversations, raise funds, and show support where it’s needed. If changing my look can change someone’s future, I’m all in.

This is about honouring every fighter and making a real difference.

Thanks for backing me, and this cause.

Beard Dye, Bold Colours & Big Impact

Wednesday 11th Jun
Every day, more than 400 Australians are diagnosed with cancer. That’s 400 families suddenly thrown into a fight no one ever expects.

That’s why I’m stepping up — with my face as the battlefield and my beard as the canvas.

The deal is simple:
The highest donor by the end of the fundraiser picks the colour I dye my beard.
Fluoro yellow? Electric blue? Hot pink? Go wild. The weirder, the better — I’m game!

This isn’t just a gimmick. It’s personal. 1 in 2 Australians will face cancer before 85. That’s not just a stat — that’s our parents, siblings, mates — us.

Every dollar helps fund Cancer Council’s research, support services, and real help for real people.
