I’m doing it for cancer!
After 5 strong years of growing my hair out, its finally time to make the cut.
Both my Mother and Father have been pretty harshly affected by Cancer. Not to mention numerous grandparents and relatives who have also succumb to this disastrous cause of nature.
1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, so I’m losing my locks to raise funds and show my support.
Everyone close to me knows how much I love my long hair, being a metal-head who wished he lived through the 80's, so cutting my hair off is a pretty serious task. But when I see what cancer patients have to go through and the relief that Cancer Council gives to people living through cancer, this is the absolute least that I can do.
