Donations during my 70th Birthday Year.

Gifts were showered upon me together with donations at my birthday luncheon 9 November 2025. I would like to Continue this platform to my next birthday to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future.

Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m asking for a gift that gives back to show my support.

My Updates

The beginning my journey with Cancer

Thursday 25th Sep
2020, March, it’s Covid time, and Nepean Hospital was in lock down for myself in the cancer ward. Chemo was treatment over the month.  One month at home.  Then repeat of chemo next month. Again a month at home. 
One more round of chemo preparing me for a bone marrow transplant at Westmead Hospital. 
September 2020 transplant completed. 
Recovery  at home after 6 weeks in hospital. 
Remission till October 2022 with relapse. 
I moved to WA and referred to Fiona Stanley Hospital.  Targeted therapy started till March 2023 then continued with chemo. 
Remission towards end of 2023.
Relapse June 2024. Targeted therapy in progress. I require platelet transfusions twice a week. Narrogin Chemo Unit assist with transfusions and each month return to Charles Gairdner Hospital, again platelet transfusions and continued therapy with Linear Cancer Centre . 
For now, I am working towards another remission
