Mercedes Ponytail Chop 2026

I’m challenging myself to cut 15cm of my hair to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future.


I'm participating in the Ponytail project for my grandma who is currently fighting cancer and for my uncle who lost all of his hair during chemo.


Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m losing my locks to raise funds and show my support.  


Please sponsor me to support cancer research and provide vital services for Australians living with cancer.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the support and donations I received from family and friends. It means so much and I'm so grateful! My initial goal was 800 and now I have doubled that initial target! It just goes to show how something so small can go a long way, whether it's me cutting my hair or all of you donating. 

Mercedes has raised over $50,000! Let's keep raising that number!
