I'm doing it for cancer!

Both myself and a great friend  aim to complete a marathon (yep, 42.195k's!!) on the Concept 2 Indoor rower

Additionally, a few of our Dragon Boat team members will be doing the same

Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m putting my body to the test to raise funds and show my support.

Friday 6th Jun
Deep into training now...and as I was completing this a mate was preparing for cancer surgery.

Wednesday 21st May
First milestone achieved - HM done and dusted! Well on our way to being ready.

A friend undergoing treatment mentioned  " 4 hours is the average time it takes for someone to get 1x chemo treatment and most people need to 12-16 of these.
You can battle it out on the rower for 4 hours easily"

Puts it all in perspective doesn't it....
