Welcome to the official fundraising page for Mr. Budgies – the boldest, cheekiest, most unforgettable event on the Mad Cow calendar.. it's back for 2026!

Thursday July 2nd, 15 local blokes will strut the stage in their finest budgie smugglers – not just for the glory, but to raise awareness for testicular cancer and much-needed funds for Do It For Cancer NQ, in support of the Cancer Council.

This isn’t just about abs, tan lines, and tight trunks (though, yes – there's plenty of that). It’s about getting real about men’s health, encouraging open convos, and showing that doing good can be a bloody good time too.

Protects 15 children from potentially harmful sun exposure through our SunSmart school programs.

Can help pay for the collection and processing of a blood sample.

Facilitates a Telephone Support Group for 8 people who are affected by advanced cancer, including carers and those bereaved.

Provides up to one week of funding for a vacation scholarship for a research student.
