We're doing it for cancer!
After two years off, Eye Am Hair are doing it again... we are stripping down and braving Tassie's icy waters in the name of cancer!
This year feels especially important.
As many of you know, last year our admin angel, marketing manager, and all-round legend Ella was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer. It was a devastating shock. She underwent major surgery and rigorous treatment, and while she is now back to her usual self, she is still relying on the help of medical staff and organisations like the Cancer Council to get through the next few years of treatment.
You may also remember Bec, who fought breast cancer a few years ago with unwavering courage. And our founder Chelsea has faced her own close calls, having a melanoma removed and supporting her mum through a recent cancer scare.
We all know someone affected by cancer. It touches lives in ways seen and unseen, and the Cancer Council is there for all of it - not just for those fighting the disease, but for the people who love them too.
That’s why we’re taking the plunge. For Ella. For Bec. For Chelsea. For Chelsea’s mum. For everyone who’s walked this road. And for those who will.
