I’m doing it for cancer!
Hi, my name is Hartley,
I’m cutting off my hair to raise money for Cancer Council. I’m doing this for my friend Owen, who is bravely going through treatment for leukaemia right now. Seeing what he is going through has made me want to help Owen and other kids who have to go through the same thing.
I hope the money raised can help with research and support so that fewer children and families have to experience cancer and the tough treatments that come with it.
At school we are also having a Crazy Hair Day fundraiser, and I’ll be showing up with my new short hair to support the cause.
