I’m doing it for cancer!
I'm doing it for cancer because my mother was about 43 years old when she had breast cancer and died at the age of 46 from cancer. That was back in 1950. I was only 12 years old.
She had organized with her sister and my father that I would be sent to boarding school and so I have always thought she looked after me even after she had died.
I have been donating to the Cancer Society for many years now in memory of my mother.
