I'm doing it for cancer!

Over the past 10 years I have seen several family members and friends battle Cancer, some are no longer with us. About the same time, I decided to walk for Cancer and help raise much needed funds for the research into this disease. I am still walking, sometimes with family or friends and sometimes solo. My walks have taken me to many parts of Australia and other countries; I have seen so much countryside and met so many other walkers and pilgrims. Some also suffering or have suffered from this disease. Cancer does not pick and choose who it wishes to become friends with.

This year will see me put my body to the test again to raise funds and show my support.

Last Year Walking

Friday 2nd Jan
Last year I walked several Celtic Trails in UK, Scotland and Ireland. This year will be no different.
My walking plans for2026 will be the BVRT during the colder months and in early October my plan is to walk from London to Walsingham, Walsingham Camino.  Many short walks in between.
