BSSC's Do It for Cancer 2019
Why am I "Doing It for Cancer?"
I am "Doing It" for friends, neighbours, staff, and students.
I am "Doing It" for my family, in the hope that we don't lose future generations like we have in the past.
I am "Doing It" for those who have battled and won!
Once I reach $1,000 my luscious locks will come off!
If BSSC's Do it for Cancer reaches $10,000 I will wear a Qld State of Origin jersey for 1 week.
At Burpengary State Secondary College, we strive to create a culture that encourages and supports the development of our students into active citizens within a global community. One of our College Values is 'Courage'. Six of our courageous staff members will be leading by example and taking an active role in promoting cancer awareness, while raising funds for cancer research and support for those impacted by it.
On the 21st of June, 2019, Burpengary State Secondary College will "Do It for Cancer" and host a hair colour and shave event during a whole school assembly to raise funds for the Australian Cancer Council.
