Last day of the challenge

Monday 30th Jun
Last day of the month and the dog walk for cancer finishes. Bailey and I walked 3.34k today to give us a grand total of 74.3 klm this month … well above our expected goal. We raised over $580.
Thankyou to everyone that donated to this very worthy cause and have followed us along and encouraged us.Some days were exhausting and more challenging than others. But that’s what people on a cancer journey endure all the time.
Bailey and I managed to lose some weight along the way so that’s an extra bonus and my endocrinologist tells me I now have bloods similar to that of someone who does not have diabetes, obviously having Bailey is extremely good for my health as he keeps me going when I really can’t be bothered. 
No more cancer walk spam from me.
My boy has enjoyed an extra treat and deserves a bit of a rest !
Perhaps next time we will aim for 100klm

3 klm today bringing our total up to 68 KLM this month. Two days left we might get to 70k.

Windy walking

Tuesday 24th Jun
Today’s walk was a very windy walk but Bailey and I managed to get blown over 4klm’s. Bringing our total 63.5klm so far this month. Thankyou Jennifer White for your donation boosting our donations to $581

Reached our goal of 50K today

Thursday 19th Jun
Managed 3klm walk at sunset and now we have hit our goal of 50 klm. YIPPEEE !!!
What lovely way to finish the day with my boy! 
Today was eventful as Bailey caught his first bird in our garden and I made a quick rush to the vet well I guess he is a retriever so was just doing what his breed was bred for ! I think the bird is okay as he was gentle with it.

12 days in and Bailey and I have walked 32.4klm
