This One's For Mum

In July I lost my mum to cancer. She was the hardest woman I've ever met. She was my Mum, and my Dad. Stubborn, funny, and impossible to talk out of anything once she'd made up her mind. She's the reason I am who I am today.

Anyone who's lost someone to cancer knows how horrific and devastating it is, for the person and for everyone who loves them. I've never been in a position to raise money before. But after going through the worst period of my life and hitting rock bottom, I'm more motivated than ever to turn a negative into a positive.

So I'm raising $5,000 for Cancer Council through my content, in honour of Mum and everyone who's been affected by cancer. That's just about all of us. And I'm not going to stop until I get there.

Some of you know me, and some of you don't. I'm Kurt. I run Project LIFT, a YouTube and social media channel where I'm building, renovating, and teaching myself to become capable.

I'm doing what I love, building, and using my latest video to push this cause as far as I can.
