I’m doing it for cancer!
I’m setting myself a challenge for the remainder of my maternity leave, in memory of my wonderful Grandma.
From today until the very last day of my leave, I’ll be posting on social media every single day in an effort to raise $1 million for Cancer Council to help create a future free from cancer.
With 222 days of maternity leave remaining, that means I need to raise $4,504 every single day to reach this ambitious goal.
Why? Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every dollar raised helps fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs, and vital support services for Australians and their families facing cancer.
