I’m cutting my hair for Cancer
There are a lot of words I could use to describe my grandfather, but still none of them seem to express just how much of an impact he made to people’s lives.
He always encouraged me to pursue my talents, and he believed in me, and I always knew he was proud of me and my sister.
My grandfather loved so many people I’m surprised he had enough room in his heart.
Nothing prepares you for the loss of a loved one, you could be told a thousand times that this will be the last time you see them but still it doesn’t sink in until it’s too late.
I’m cutting off my hair for Pop, but I’m also doing this for every other family affected by the lasting impacts of cancer and the devastation it causes.
