I’m doing it for cancer!
I’m challenging myself to shave my hair to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future.
Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m losing my locks to raise funds and show my support.
As with all families, I have personally been affected by cancer, with my Pop and my Godmother passing away due to cancer recently.
I have also been diagnosed with Chiari Malformation (Which essentially means my brain is too big for my skull) and I require surgery to shave away some of my skull to relieve the pressure on my brain. I have been growing my hair for many years and would love it if it could be used to help someone feel better about themselves even just a little bit.
