I’m doing it for cancer!
I’m challenging myself to shave my hair to support Cancer Council... Yep Chop the locks! Raising funds to show my support...
Many that know me know my story. I'm sure alot can relate to also. The pain, strength & emotions that your loved 1 faces during this time is heartbreaking. To be a survivor myself of this & to watch my loved ones go through this hits me with big emotions- some survivors, some less fortunate.
I am doing this now for a beautiful woman, an angel, a mum, a sister, a daughter, a nan, & also a great grandmother, who has recently been diagnosed with not just 1 form of cancer but 3! Aggressive stage 4.
I cant wave a magic wand to kick cancers butt out of the world, but this small step I can do. Who can be behind me & show their support.

Another Angel
Monday 11th May I want to give a shout out to a wonderful lady who did not know me other than crossing paths in town now & then, never had a conversation with her until recently. I approached her at her business NDC Nails & Hair. I was a little bit emotional whilst trying to explain what I wanted to do. She did not think twice in doing my hair for me, offered it to me for free at whatever convenient time I needed. She made me feel comfortable reassured & was just a great soul to me. As I wiped my tears away & was about to say my good byes, a lovely elderly woman (a friend of hers) pulled up on her scooter to tell her that she has just lost a family member... yep to the big C also! As I stood there looking at this lady that had just offered a lovely gesture, some tissues, a listening ear. I realised she to was there for other community members in the same sense. She to is another Angel that had a presence of peace & and obviously big heart ❤️Thank you to my Supporters
