I’m doing it for cancer!
I'm doing this for my Community Studies class; I chose to host a fundraiser for the Cancer Council. In the past year, I've been researching and developing this project with the goal of raising funds and awareness for such a deserving cause. Once some ideas were taken into account, I decided to organize a sausage sizzle in my school since it is simple but effective way of engaging the community in school. A sausage sizzle is cheap, simple to manage, and a mixed crowd is drawn towards it, so it is perfect for fundraising as well as bringing people together.
