I’m doing it for cancer!
Mum, Robyn Bennett, passed away on 25 June 2026 at the age of 64, after spending half her life courageously battling cancer. For 32 years—literally half of her life—she faced each challenge with incredible strength and determination.
Mum was resilient, steadfast and unwavering throughout her journey. Against the odds, and even despite receiving a terminal diagnosis, she beat cancer four times. Sadly, her fifth cancer diagnosis proved too aggressive, and she passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Throughout her cancer journey, Mum was a passionate volunteer, sponsor and advocate for others facing cancer. She dedicated her time to supporting several cancer charities, with two holding a particularly special place in her heart: the Cancer Council and Look Good Feel Better (LGFB).
To honour Mum's legacy, we kindly ask family, friends and all those whose lives she touched to consider making a donation to one of these wonderful charities. Your generosity will help fund vital cancer research and ensure people living with cancer continue to receive the support, care and services they need.
