Wednesday 25th Jun
We are over the 60km mark ???
66km to be exact. 
Night time walks are now on our schedule as the morning are now fit for eskimos ???
Finding time in our evening schedule is prooving to be a juggle but we are still moving the needle forward. 

Only 11 walks left
$100 of our fundraising goal left to go (currently at $900) 
34kms to go.

We have been so blessed with so many more donations this week. We are very thankful to each and everyone of you. ???

Officially half way

We are officially half way!! 
Day 15

Whilst this week has been a bit tougher to find time and motivation our head is still very much in the game. 
We are in this till the end.
15 more days and 45kms to go.

Our coldest walk yet

Wednesday 11th Jun
Today was our coldest walk yet. We did a short 2km in 3 degree weather. Brrrrr 
Hopefully tomorrow brings some warmth.
Walking tally is 43kms.

40km and feeling strong

Tuesday 10th Jun
We’ve officially hit the 40km mark on our Dog Walk for Cancer challenge — and we’ve loved every chilly, jacket-wrapped step of it! !!

It’s been such a fun and meaningful way to support Cancer Council and raise awareness for people impacted by cancer. Thank you to everyone who’s cheered us on — your support keeps us moving!

Here’s to the 10km all the way to 100!! 

Day 8 & 9 - It’s snowing up the mountain

Monday 9th Jun
Day 8 and 9 have proved to be a little more tricky with the cold snap as it’s snowing up the mountain. 
But it hasn’t stopped us from going on our walks 
Day 8 3kms and Day 9 - 4.5kms bringing us to a total of 35kms so far.
We have had some social visits on our last two days walk. We stopped at our local chemist and saw some of my lovely coworkers and paddy put on his best behaviour for them. 
And today we stopped at the dog park half way through our walk. 
It’s been fun but also freezing. 
Will interesting to see what the weather will be like first thing tomorrow morning.

I week down - 28kms

Saturday 7th Jun
We made it! Our first week down of walking towards our goal of 100kms.

Today was super windy. We walked through some bushland and then along the Hawkesbury river then back through the streets on the way back home. 

A total of 5kms and we are TIRED!!! 
72kms and 23days to go! 

Day 6 - Paddy it’s cold outside

Friday 6th Jun
It’s freeeezing so we decided not to go on our usual walk this morning as it was 3 degrees. 
We changed things up and headed out this afternoon with paddy’s human siblings. It was a fun walk with lots of jogging.

Another 3kms today bringing our total to 23kms 
Very proud of us!! 

Day 5 and we have cracked the 20km mark!!

Thursday 5th Jun
Freeezing walk this morning but we have cracked the 20km mark. 

I am blown away by the support and donations.
A huge thank you to EVERYONE who is cheering us on, donating and sharing our journey.

Day 4- Another 5kms done and dusted

Wednesday 4th Jun
This morning we got out in the dark before the sun rose and set out on another 5km walk. 
It was a chilly morning with lots of hills as we took a different route to our normal walk. 

As usual paddy raced me home from the corner and of course he won. 

17kms down 83km and 26 days to go.

Thanks to all that have donated today. Very grateful for supporting us and getting us closer to our goal for such a great cause.

Day 3 - Early Morning Walk

Tuesday 3rd Jun
Today was our first early morning walk this month. It was a chilly 9 degrees with some light fog.
We walked a quick 3kms and loved every minute of it. 
Paddy loves sniffing out hedges and early morning scents in the grass.
We have raised just over $100 so far and walked 12kms.
27 walks, 88kms and $900 to go.
Excited for what’s to come!! 

Day 2 - A Monday

Monday 2nd Jun
Day 2 and we were very excited to head on our walk this afternoon. 
Mondays are tricky with scheduling our walk as Paddy’s human siblings have swimming in the mornings. 
So this afternoon we squeezed in a 3km a walk. 
We are both feeling great and excited for the next 28 days. 
Safe to say paddy is one happy pup!!! 

I am very grateful to all our friends, family and people of our community who have been cheering us on and supporting us.

And so we begin!!

Sunday 1st Jun
Today is the first day Paddy and I have set out to complete 100 kms of walking for the month of June.

We had a lovely Sunday walk, walking through our local area in the mid morning sun. Stopping half way at the dog park for some socialising and ball chasing. 

Paddy loves to run home once we turn the side street near about 200 meters away from home. 

We knocked off 5.5kms today which is a great start for our journey.
