I’m doing it for cancer!
Mercedes College is stepping up for a cause close to our hearts. In week 3 of Term 2, the Year 12 cohort will be rallying students from all year groups to join in a remarkable gesture of solidarity and support.
We're hosting a bold and heartwarming event where students will bravely part ways with their ponytails, all for a purpose. Their locks won't just be a style statement; they'll be a symbol of hope and strength for those battling cancer.
We believe in making a tangible difference. Every snip of hair and every dollar raised will go directly to the Cancer Council. Our students are going the extra mile by donating their hair to craft wigs for those experiencing hair loss from cancer treatment, reminding them that they're never alone in their fight.
How can you help? You can support our cause by donating to the group as a whole or by sponsoring individual students. Every contribution, big or small, fuels our mission and makes a real difference.
