I’m rocking the chop for cancer!

On the 15th of May, I will be 'rocking the chop' by donating my ponytail to the 2025 Mercedes College Ponytail Project. This hair will help to craft wigs for those experiencing hair loss from cancer treatment and funding, reminding them that they're never alone in their fight. I am fundraising for this cause and would love your help to get to the College's goal of raising $20,000! 

Cancer is a disease that touches far too many lives. It has left a deep mark on my life, having watched people I love fight and suffer through treatment, and felt the pain of having to say goodbye far too soon. I will be cutting my hair in honour of every person in my life that has faced cancer;  whether they have won their battle or not. In honour of their strength, their courage and the love they've left behind 

I will dedicating my cut specifically to my beautiful Na, who lost her lifelong battle with cancer in July last year.  Throughout her life she suffered from breast cancer, lung cancer and spinal cancer. But even when battling the worst, she never let it take away from her kindness and the endless love she gave away for free. She was one of the strongest women I have ever known filling my life with so much wisdom and happiness. She will forever be my life's inspiration. This chop is for her; for everything she faced, who she was, who she still is and for her memory.
