My target 100kms

I'm doing it for cancer!

I’m challenging myself to walk 100km to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer-free future.

Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m raising funds to show my support.

This walk is deeply personal to me. I’m dedicating it to my grandmother, who was not only a remarkable woman but also my best mate. Additionally, I came close to losing my dad to cancer, and this experience has strengthened my resolve to make a difference.

Please sponsor me to support cancer research and provide vital services for Australians living with cancer.

Together, we can free the future from cancer.

Walking from the Sydney Opera House to Kiama: A Journey of Purpose

Life has a way of pushing us to take action when it matters most. For me, walking from the Sydney Opera House to Kiama is more than just a physical challenge—it’s a deeply personal mission to raise awareness and funds in the fight against cancer.

Cancer has touched my life in ways I can never forget. I lost my grandmother to this cruel disease. Kiama was her home, a place she loved, and it feels right to make it the finish line of this journey. My dad also faced cancer, and there was a time I feared losing him too. Thankfully, he made it through, but the experience left an unforgettable mark. This walk is my way of honoring their stories and standing with everyone affected by cancer.

Why This Walk Matters

This isn’t just about my family’s story. It’s about the countless people who are fighting cancer right now and those who’ve lost loved ones to it. Every step I take is a step toward raising awareness and supporting vital research that could save lives.

Cancer doesn’t discriminate, and its impact is universal. But together, we can make a difference. By contributing to this cause, you’re helping to fund research, support patients, and bring hope to families who need it most.

How You Can Help

If you’d like to support this journey, any donation, big or small, makes a meaningful impact. Your generosity will go toward cancer research and programs that provide care and support to those who need it. Whether it’s $5, $50, or whatever you can give, every contribution counts.

Even if you can’t donate, you can help by spreading the word. Share this post with your network or cheer me on as I take on this challenge. Your encouragement means the world to me and fuels the drive to keep going.

Walking Toward a Brighter Future

As I set out from the Sydney Opera House and make my way to Kiama, I’ll be carrying my grandmother’s memory, my dad’s resilience, and the hope that we can create a future where cancer doesn’t take so much from us.

This journey is about more than just the kilometers. It’s about hope, determination, and community. Thank you for being part of it. Together, let’s take meaningful steps toward a future without cancer.
