I’m giving up my gifts!
As I celebrate my 50th birthday, I’ve been reflecting on the people and moments that have shaped my life. This year, instead of gifts, I’d love to mark the milestone in a way that truly honours someone very dear to me.
Many of you know how much my mum, Muriel, meant to me. She was the heart of our family—steady, loving, and endlessly supportive. Her strength and grace continue to guide me every day. In her honour, I’m asking that anyone who was planning on giving a gift instead consider making a donation to the Cancer Council.
Your donation, big or small, will help fund vital research and support families facing the challenges of cancer. It’s a way to keep Mum’s spirit alive while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
